- Spalla, LLC
- Founder/Owner
- April 1, 2019
- To Whom It Concerns:
- I have been associated nearly twenty years with Barton James Christner and it is a pleasure to recommend his creative, technical and teaching expertise. Initially contracting with Mr. Christner, remotely through Skype, I brought him to Phoenix, Arizona for months, where his creativity, content and technological acumen have surpassed all expectations, leading up to the successful formation and operation of a new LLC.
- An excellent leader, his analysis, advice and training remain infectious and highly recommended. Mr. Christner, as a Business Analyst and Program/Projects Manager, is an established veteran UX Architect, Creative and Art Director, with two decades experience in E-commerce and Media Management. His career includes a six year recent professorship working with the President of Daytona State College and the President of the Dominican Republic. His prior executive experience includes “special creative projects” directly reporting to executive stakeholder’s, including the President of Dick’s Sporting Goods.
- Additionally, within his five book series, I’m proud to be highlighted in Mr. Christner’s second book entitled, “DIGITAL IMAGE: A VISUAL ENCYCLOPEDIA”. With contributions from 30+ of Mr. Christner’s fortune clients - as well as myself - his book features IBM, Bayer, Carrier, Holiday Inn and Royal Caribbean, presenting his critically acclaimed design solutions featured on covers of mobile application interfaces, web pages, books, and billboards. I’m familiar with his work, featured in magazines and newspapers including the Washington Observer Reporter, The Almanac, Suburban Living Magazine, Pittsburgh’s Post Gazette and Tribune Review, and Daytona’s In-Focus and News Journal papers. Mr. Christner’s comprehension across multiple computer and software platforms, programming languages, software interface, media, marketing and recognized photographic skills have lent value to my LLC’s operational, organizational, and creative process.
- Mr. Christner’s input and efforts, toward our projects and plans have moved me farther forward in the past few months, than I could have imagined all year. His enthusiasm and character has been equivalent to knocking down an “ice jam” and the resultant strategic and productive energy is apparent. Mr. Christner demonstrates high moral character, strong initiative, creativity, perseverance and intellectual acumen. Having showcased in dozens of exhibitions and galleries, permanent 5x20 foot installations at The George Washington and Southeast Museum of Photography.
- He holds an M.F.A. in Interdisciplinary Art (UX/Interactive Media) at the Goddard College & University, B.S. in Graphic Communications (Electronics Engineering Concentration) at Clemson University, and taught over 10 years adjunct at Penn State and Robert Morris Universities, in Computer Science, Digital Imaging, and Visual Arts. Instructing youth since the inception of the Washington Community Arts and Cultural Center, Mr. Christner was nominated by its founder, Sandee Umbach, and elected Board President 2013-14.
- It is therefore with my highest personal and professional support and without reservation that I support Barton Christner’s added value to your program. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can provide you with any further information. My number is 602-692-4284.
- Sincerely,
- Lawrence A. Spalla, Ph.D.
