2011 03 23 REFERENCE "Thomas LoBasso" LETTER

To Whom It May Concern:
Please accept this letter of reference for Barton (Bart) Christner’s application for employment with your organization. I have known Bart for about six years, but most recently was able to work closely with him and professor Vincenzo Piazza in creating a recreation soccer program on our DeLand campus. What started out with just a handful of students has blossomed into a program that has over 40 active participants. Bart was a steady presence in the program and worked extremely well with the students. The program has students ranging from excellent ability to first timers. Bart especially made the first time players feel welcomed and encouraged them to stay and have fun.
Bart has always been active at the College volunteering for various events throughout his time here. He assisted the College Foundation at many of their fundraising events, capturing pictures that were later displayed around campus. Bart was also selected to teach digital media courses at the Dominican Republic as part of a grant program the College was participating in. He is an enthusiastic person that possesses a positive attitude. I feel Bart will be an asset to any organization that he is employed with. He is the kind of person that seeks involvement in all aspect of the College and is well liked by his peers.
