- I am pleased to write this letter on behalf of Bart Christner. I have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Christner as both a faculty member and as a department chair.
- During his six year tenure at the college he has served in three departments including the School of Photography where his mission was to sunset the Digital Media Program. This highly adaptive faculty member accepted and met the challenge enthusiastically by teaching classes in graphic arts, digital media and photography.
- Barts’ classroom management is sound and energetic. He enjoys the give and take of teaching, has high expectations of all of his students, and works hard to assure student success. Most importantly, however, he has a real passion for photography and art, both from the pedagogical point of view, and from his work as a creative artist.
- He has contributed greatly to the college on both a local and international level including establishing academic programs in Ireland and the Dominican Republic, developing online courses for the Digital Media Program, establishing internships for students, and providing photographic and artistic support for numerous faculty and departments throughout the college.
- Bart is a valued colleague, artist and teacher who will bring a high level of enthusiasm and commitment to your institution.
