- I am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of Bart Christner. Bart has been a faculty member on our contract equivalent of a visiting professor appointment for the past six years. During the past three years he has worked in my division on a very challenging joint appointment to provide instruction to students affected by the closure of our digital media AS degree program. Mr. Christner also has served as an instructor for our project to develop a community college in the Dominican Republic and acted as lead instructor for our Tyrone Donegal Partnership.
- Bart has an infectious can-do attitude and a willingness to explore new ideas and concepts. More importantly he was able to transfer that attitude and initiative to his students. His student evaluations were outstanding with many comments regarding his ability to motivate and inspire students to take creative risks and become self directed in pursuit of their educational and career goals. Bart is also very highly regarded by the faculty for his enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to contribute his time and professional skills to their publications, events, and courses where appropriate.
