2011 04 01 COMMEND "Ron Morrison" LETTER
- April 1, 2011
- To whom it may concern,
- It is my pleasure to offer this letter of recommendation for Mr. Bart Christner. Although I have only known Bart for a short period of time, I had the opportunity to work with Bart collaboratively on several projects at Daytona State College during the last year. Bart was a member of the Daytona State College faculty, assigned to teach courses in Graphic Arts and Photography. He also was active in supporting various college projects involving web design, marketing, and supported the Daytona State College Foundation in many ways.
- I can best attest to Bart’s abilities and character based on a textbook project that he assisted me with during 2010 and 2011. I compiled a textbook (The 1960s: The Age of Metamorphosis) which has been published by Cengage Learning, and which documents the historical, political, psychological and musical events that characterized the decade. Bart designed the cover for the book which serves as a significant discriminator. Bart’s work was original, colorful, thematic, and exceptional. The finished product was unique in design, and completed by Bart on time, and under tremendous pressure from the publisher. Needless to say that I acknowledged Bart’s commitment, dedication, and perseverance to this project in the book’s forward. Additionally, Bart Christner is an intelligent and energetic person who has demonstrated that he can take an idea and develop it into a finished product with very little needed direction. His knowledge and skills in the Photography and Graphic Arts areas are impressive. These attributes, combined with his passion, insight, dependability and commitment will make Bart a valuable asset to any institution or organization.
- Based on the above, I would recommend Bart, without reservation, for any position that he pursues in the future. If you require additional elaboration or information, please contact me at you convenience.
- Sincerely,
- Ronald W. Morrison, Ph.D.
- Chair - Behavioral & Social Sciences
- Daytona State College
