Founder / Author / Poet,
Wash Arts Community Center

"Through Art, we believe our quality of life is enhanced. We founded Wash Arts, to serve the community, so that children and adults of any background, could explore fine art. To be a successful independent and creative writing professional, seek first to publish articles and columns in regional newspapers and magazines. Once established in national and international literary journals, I sought my poetry book debut, 'The Pattern Maker's Daughter,' about childhood in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, a region once devastated by America's worst flooding, economic hardships, and social strife. Portraying Barton James' photography, we display our prestigious Award 'Champion in Action!' for 'Main Street' consulting, homegrown 'My Own Backyard' projects, and Poetry Workshops offered through the PA Humanities Council Speakers Bureau."
